Downtown Spokane has experienced a remarkable transformation over the past decade, centered around the extensive renovation of Riverfront Park. As part of this revitalization, a new building was constructed to serve as a vibrant hub for both the Ice Ribbon and the Gondola, seamlessly combining functionality with charm.
Our vision was to create a dynamic space where families and friends could come together and enjoy memorable moments. The building offers a welcoming environment to sip on hot cocoa, cheer on loved ones gliding across the ice, or share a plate of nachos. Thoughtfully designed, it serves as both a gathering place and a vantage point for the park’s bustling activity.
To meet the demands of this high-traffic space, we selected materials that are not only ultra-durable but also warm and inviting, ensuring comfort and resilience for years to come. Adding a touch of history and community pride, we adorned the walls with carefully curated historical photographs of downtown Spokane, celebrating the city’s rich past while embracing its vibrant present.
This project exemplifies the balance of modern design, durability, and nostalgic charm, creating a space that invites visitors to connect, reflect, and enjoy all that Riverfront Park has to offer.
